Kemba Walker was drafted ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets back in 2011, and he has remained with the team ever since. The 28-year-old has not averaged less than 17 points per game since his rookie season, and Walker's performances over the past two seasons have been rewarded with back to back All-Star appearances.

During the 18/19 season, Walker has taken his performances to the next level, and at the halfway stage of the season, the Hornets man is averaging 25.1 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Walker will become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and if the Knicks can pull off a deal for the point guard, it would represent a major signal of intent from the organization. With Walker originating from New York, the Knicks may have an advantage, although the All-Star may only be willing to join if the team can also attract Kevin Durant during the postseason.
