LaVar Ball doesn't want Lonzo to join the Pelicans

Lonzo Ball was selected with the second overall pick of the 2017 draft by the Lakers, and the 21-year-old has been a regular starter during his 18 months in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, Ball has been offered to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the Lakers pursuit of Anthony Davis, although ESPN is reporting that LaVar Ball does not see a future for his son in New Orleans:

We want to be in L.A., Ball told ESPN. 'But if he's traded, I don't want Lonzo in New Orleans. Phoenix is the best fit for him. And I am going to speak it into existence'
