Now that we are roughly a quarter of the way through the season, all eyes are on the NBA trade deadline. As of December 15, all players who signed deals in the offseason are able to be included in deals. According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, 88% of NBA players are now trade eligible.
This season, the NBA trade deadline is set to fall on February 9 at 3 pm. The rumor mill has already begun heating up, and reports should continue to pop up now that most players are able to be dealt.

Key names to watch as the NBA trade deadline rapidly approaches
In the early weeks of the season, there have already been a few notable names on the trade market. One of the main players brought up is Phoenix Suns veteran Jae Crowder. Crowder has yet to suit up this season as he awaits to be sent to a new team.

Among the teams most interested in acquiring Crowder is the Milwaukee Bucks. With one of the best records in the NBA right now, they are looking to once again make a run at the NBA Finals. Aiannis Antetokounmpo is playing at an MVP level, and adding a player like Crowder could make Milwaukee an even bigger threat to come out of the Eastern Conference.
Another player that has become a hot topic ahead of the NBA trade deadline is Kyle Kuzma. The 27-year-old forward is in the midst of a breakout season for the Washington Wizards, and has caught the attention of multiple teams. Through 28 games, Kuzma is averaging 21.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
One of the teams reportedly inquiring about Kuzma is the LA Lakers. Kuzma was drafted by the Lakers in 2017, and then dealt to Washington last year in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
The final name that has popped up a lot in rumors is Atlanta Hawks big man John Collins. So far this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 12.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
After making a big splash and trading for Dejounte Murray last offseason, the Hawks have struggled out the gates. They are currently below .500 with a record of 14-15, and are 3-7 over their last ten games. In an attempt to shake things up, the team might look to move on from the former 19th overall pick.
As the NBA trade deadline gets closer, there are sure to be a plethora of players who will become available.
