#1 D'Angelo Russell
After a somewhat underwhelming first season with the Brooklyn Nets, D'Angelo Russell has been incredible so far this season. Russell has been instrumental to the Nets recent winning form, and the team would undoubtedly be out of the playoff places without his contribution.
The young guard has spearheaded the Nets playoff push, which has taken the team to the seventh spot in the East standings. Russell has also shown improvement on both ends of the court this season, and the 22-year-old is currently averaging 18.4 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Despite his impressive performances, Russell continues to be linked with a move away from the Nets, as the team is reportedly looking to make a big splash in the 2019 free agent market. Due to this, the Suns may be able to get the Nets man in return for relatively little in return, and based on his form this season, Russell could significantly improve the Suns on both ends of the court.
