
Neemias Queta is a Portuguese professional basketball player who plays for the Boston Celtics in the NBA, as of April 2025. He was drafted as the 39th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings in the 2021 NBA Draft and became the first-ever Portuguese player to be drafted into the NBA. He was only featured in 20 NBA games in two seasons with the Kings and was waived by the franchise.
Neemias Queta had two consistent G-League seasons under his belt and was also named in the All-NBA G-League first team and All-Defensive team in 2022-2023. He averaged 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 blocks while shooting 68.2% from the field, as per Basketball Reference.
