#3 Lonzo Ball could be made available after making a slow start
Upon being selected 2nd overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 draft, Lonzo Ball was declared as the future of the franchise by Magic Johnson. However, Ball struggled with injuries during his two seasons in LA and was subsequently included as part of the trade for Davis.
Ball's career was expected to take off following his move to the Pelicans, although after making a slow start for his new team, ESPN's Brian Windhorst told The Hoop Collective podcast that the Pelicans could make Ball available for trade if they receive a suitable offer ahead of the trade deadline.
