No doubt, a lot of attention will be focused on the Knicks following their major roster overhaul in the offseason, particularly in their starters. It's going to be interesting how the team will incorparate Towns and Bridges to their system, which was already solid in itself before the changes.

Towns, who was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves for a package that included All-Star Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, is expected to bring a different dimension to the Knicks' frontcourt with his size and versatility on both ends of the court.

The same goes for Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets, who was brought in to tap on his do-it-all skills in the wing spot.

Meanwhile, the Hornets will bask in the opportunity to have Ball back in the roster after being limited to just 22 games last season because of ankle injury. The former rookie of the year's 23.9 points, 8.0 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals averages when healthy last season was sorely missed in Charlotte, which ended its campiagn with a 21-61 card.

It's hoped that Ball can stay healthy for the season and play more games alongside MIller and Bridges and lead the Hornets to steady competitiveness.

Out for the game, though, are Mark Williams (left foot strain) and Cody Martin (wrist sprain) for Charlotte while for New York Mitchell Robinson is unavailable (left angle surgery).
