$111,000,000 worth Giannis Antetokounmpo spotted shopping at Target after Olympics

Giannis Antetokounmpo has loads of money, but that wasn't always the case. Despite earning big bucks every year, the Milwaukee Bucks star is still the same person, coming from a humble background.

Earlier today, PlayersTV posted a picture of Antetokounmpo shopping at Target. The 2021 NBA champion was seen in his black t-shirt and matching color shorts. According to the post, the eight-time NBA All-Star also used his Target rewards numbers before checking out.

Given how recognizable his face is now, he was also approached by a fan to click a selfie with him, and Giannis gladly agreed. He was seen posing for a picture with a fan.

Currently, Antetokounmpo is worth $111,000,000 [according to Forbes].

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his three brothers were born in Greece to Nigerian parents. Giannis was drafted into the NBA in 2013, changing the fortunes of his family for good while also paving the way for his siblings.

In an appearance on "The Daily Show" last year with Hasan Minhaj, Antetokounmpo spoke about his father and how his family struggled with money. However, he added that his father always felt rich because he had a happy family around him.

"[1:20] I wouldn’t be in this position that I’ve seen today without my family, without the sacrifice that my parents made every single day to provide for us ... I wouldn't be here without them," the Bucks star said.

"And as I’ve said in the past and I’ve said a lot of times, he [his father] had no money, he was poor. He came from Nigeria to have a better life, and we were his legacy. And I could feel like growing up like he was the richest person in the neighborhood because he always felt rich because he had us.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo was on the show to promote the foundation he had opened and named it "The Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation."

Giannis named the foundation in memory of his father, Charles Antetokounmpo, who died of a heart attack in Milwaukee on September 29, 2017 at the age of 54.
