LiAngelo Ball's basketball career has not quite taken off the way he may have hoped, but the former G League player is making waves in the music industry. This week, Ball, who is the brother of NBA stars Lonzo and LaMelo Ball, released his new song "Tweaker." The track has gone viral, with some of the sports and entertainment world's biggest names praising LiAngelo for his latest creation.
There have been several social media posts from fans who enjoyed the track, and former Orlando Magic and LA Lakers star Dwight Howard, who also goes by the nickname D12," was the latest to get in on the action.
On Sunday, Howard posted a message on his X account, teasing a collaboration with LiAngelo Ball and hinting there could be a "Tweaker" remix featuring D12.

Howard played 18 seasons in the NBA with seven different franchises and was a member of the Lakers' 2020 championship team. Over that stretch, the talented center secured several lucrative contracts, and per CelebrityNetWorth, his net worth is reportedly $140 million.
Howard may not have the talent that Ball has on the mic, but it would be interesting to see the two join forces. He is also in a relationship with Amy Luciani and could get some tips from the well-known rapper.
Ball first teased his new song on a live stream with popular content creator N3on. In the short clip, the two drive around Los Angeles with "Tweaker" playing in the background. Ball followed that up with a post on his Instagram account promoting the track.
On Saturday, the full version was released on the "WorldstarHipHop" YouTube channel, and it has currently racked up over 1.7 million views.
LiAngelo Ball played alongside his brothers Lonzo and LeMelo at Chino Hills High School (California) and was a top-rated prospect. The 6-foot-6 guard/forward opted to play professionally overseas instead of going to college and has had stints in Lithuania, Mexico and the G League.
After a standout season at UCLA, Lonzo Ball was the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft and has gone on to play for the LA Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls. LaMelo Ball was the third pick in the 2020 draft and is currently in his fifth season with the Charlotte Hornets. He was named to the All-Star team for the first time in 2022.
