The two men were detained before ever reaching Harris' home, as they were caught in an evacuation zone past the mandated curfew. It also wasn't confirmed if Harris or anyone else was present in the home during this stop. At the moment, the Vice President is preparing for the transfer of power in Washington, D.C. to President-elect Donald Trump.

Along with being a resident of California, LeBron James has been impacted by the wildfires in numerous ways. Due to the unsafe conditions in the area, the NBA has had to postpone games for the Lakers and LA Clippers in recent days.
Throughout his career, LeBron has been known to speak out about major topics going on in the country. With this one hitting so close to home, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to talk about the wildfires. The Lakers star put out a heartfelt post on Saturday stating that he hopes this disastrous situation ends soon.

As of now, there is no news on whether LeBron James' property has been affected by the wildfires. However, some close to him have already fallen victim to the flames. Lakers coach JJ Redick has spoken a lot about the wildfires, stating that he is among those who have lost homes. Thankfully, his family was able to evacuate in time.
Like most pro sports leagues, the NBA is doing its part to help with relief efforts. In their latest press release announcing postponed games, the league also cited that it donated one million dollars to numerous foundations to help combat the wildfires.
