New York Knicks superfan and $200 million net-worth celebrity Ben Stiller recently shared the experience of being a fan. Stiller was interviewed by Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley on "The Steam Room" podcast. During one of their segments, Barkley asked the celebrity the highest and lowest points of being a Knicks fan.

Ben Stiller noted his all-time favorite moment was when New York took on the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Playoffs. Stiller shared that when Donte DiVincenzo hit a three-pointer in the clutch, Madison Square Garden went crazy, and even he and his son were hyped up at that moment.

"I was at that Philadelphia series," Stiller shared. "You know when Donte DiVincenzo hit that shot, that was in Game 2? That was amazing. I mean the energy there was just insane. I was there with my son and I was like "This is like a moment we're going to remember for the rest of our lives.""

Stiller reflected on what the lowest point of being a Knicks fan was, stating which seasons weren't exactly the best time to be a New York fan.

"You know, I mean the lowest? The recent stuff is what you feel the most. But, you know, there's nothing like when the Knicks finally hits the end of the road. But also there was like 19-whatever to like 2001 to like [2019]."

Looking at New York Knicks' 2024-25 season so far

The New York Knicks are running with a completely different look this season. After trading Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the Minnesota Timberwolves, New York now has the new star duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. The question now is, has their uniting been effective?

They've secured a 14-9 record after 23 games. This places them fourth in the Eastern Conference, which is on par with how their previous season went. Last year, New York consistently placed among the top four in the conference until eventually securing the second seed.

Brunson and Towns have effectively carried their team so far. Brunson is leading the charge, averaging 25.4 points, 7.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds. As for Towns, he's putting up 25.2 ppg, 13.2 rpg and 3.0 apg. So far both players have been readily available. Brunson is yet to miss his first game of the season, while KAT has only missed a couple.

For as long as the new All-Star duo can keep their outputs consistent, New York fans could look forward to another playoff run.
