2024-25 NBA season Golden State Warriors full schedule released: Important dates, major games and more

The Golden State Warriors are one of the teams with the most pressure for the upcoming season after missing the playoffs last campaign. They were eliminated in the play-in tournament by the Sacramento Kings.

The Dubs are renewed after a busy offseason. They had parted ways with Klay Thompson and Chris Paul. But they recruited Kyle Anderson from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Buddy Hield from the Philadelphia 76ers in a six-team trade in July. Moreover, they signed De'Anthony Melton and converted Usman Garuba to an NBA contract.

Golden State is ready to make some noise and their schedule for next season is finally out.

The 2022 NBA champions will start the season on Oct. 23. It is a day after the defending NBA champions Boston Celtics face the New York Knicks to kick off the season. The Dallas Mavericks and LA Lakers will close out the first night of the new NBA season.

Moreover, they will start their NBA Cup journey on Nov. 12 against the Mavericks in a special game for Dubs Nation. The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is also major for the Warriors, as they're hosting the big event this season. The All-Star Weekend will start on Feb. 14 and last through Feb. 16. The season will finish on Apr. 13.

The Warriors' season opener is at Moda Center on Oct. 23, as they visit the Portland Trail Blazers. One of the most special games of the season will happen on Nov. 12 when the Dallas Mavericks visit Golden State to start the NBA Cup. This duel will mark Klay Thompson's return to the Bay after leaving in free agency the team following a 13-tenure.

The first game against the LA Lakers and LeBron James will happen one month later, as part of the Christmas Day Games slate.

One month later, they will host the Sacramento Kings, the team that eliminated them from last season's playoffs. The Kings will be the Dubs' first opponent after the All-Star break on Feb. 21. Last but not least, Golden State will close out the season against the LA Clippers on Apr. 13.
