For the second straight year, the NBA Cup is highlighting the early weeks of the regular season. Teams continue to battle in the group phase round in hopes of advancing to the knockout round in Las Vegas.
Teams were split up into six groups, three for each conference. They then have a series of four games in the group stage to determine which six teams advance to the next stage. Aside from group winners, one Wild Card team from each conference is also chosen to advance.
With a handful of teams already having three NBA Cup games under their belt, some groups have already been clinched. However, others are still up for grabs. Here is a complete breakdown of how the standings are shaping up.

What teams have already clinched a spot in the knockout round in the 2024 NBA Cup?
As of now, only two teams have punched their ticket to the knockout round in Las Vegas. The first team to do so was the Golden State Warriors out of Western Conference Group C. Steph Curry and company continue their strong start to the season, picking up wins over the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans.
Another team out West to clinch a spot in the next round is the Houston Rockets. They too sit at 3-0 in the group round, defeating the LA Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
At the time this is being written, no Eastern Conference team has clinched a playoff spot yet.
As teams start to clinch spots in the next round, others find themselves getting eliminated from contention. Those already out of the running include the Jazz, Pelicans, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors.
What is the remaining schedule for the 2024 NBA Cup?
There are still two more full days of group round games to be played. The first is on November 29th, followed by December 3rd.
While the teams haven't been laid out yet, the schedule is in place for the knockout round. The quarterfinals will be played on Dec 10 and 11. Those still alive will compete in the semifinals on Dec. 14.
The 2024 NBA Cup is set to come to an end on Dec. 17, with the championship game being aired on national TV. That night, the league will crown just the second winner ever of this new event.
