#3 Tim Hardaway Jr.

Away from their pursuits in the backcourt, the Miami Heat will likely be seeking to add some additional perimeter options in the offseason.

One player who has been frequently linked with the franchise is Dallas Mavericks star Tim Hardaway Jr., whose performances in the playoffs raised a lot of interest for the 29-year-old wing outlet.

Hardaway averaged 17 points in the Mavs' 7-game series with the Clippers, shooting above 40% from the field and from downtown. He was a clinical scorer and the perfect partner for Luka Doncic.
The Miami Heat lacked such a consistent second-option to Butler and Adebayo's shot-making in the regular season and could make use of his experience and ability to find his spot beyond the arc.
Although Hardaway could demand a salary rise, the Miami Heat should not be deterred. Their offense fell from seventh most effective to 18th this year, therefore they need a strong offensive wing who can also affect the game on the defensive end.
#4 John Collins

If the Atlanta Hawks can't meet the contract demands of John Collins this summer, the Miami Heat should immediately be on the phone with the young star. The Heat lacked offensive effectiveness at power forward this season, especially after Kelly Olynyk went to Houston.
Collins is coming off another impressive season with the Hawks and has proved he can be hugely effective in the playoffs. He averaged 17 points during the campaign and shot at 55% from the field and close to 40% from three - an aspect of his game he has improved exponentially in the last couple of years.
Collins reportedly turned down a contract worth $90m prior to this season and so won't come cheap to the Miami Heat. Nevertheless, his ceiling for development and athleticism on both ends of the court is an aspect of their game that was missing this year.
#5 Zach LaVine

Akin to a trade for John Collins, this deal is a bit more outlandish and possibly unattainable for the Miami Heat. Nevertheless, there is opinion among NBA trade rumors that the Chicago Bulls could be open to trading Zach LaVine to earn some value for the shooting guard prior to him becoming a free agent next year.
That value could be in the form of young shooter Tyler Herro and point guard Goran Dragic, a position at which the Bulls have struggled. While Herro is a terrific prospect, LaVine is now one of the league's premier scorers and can better help the Miami Heat win a championship in the short-term.
LaVine was outrageously good this year for the Bulls, shooting at 50% from the field and 40% from downtown on his way to averaging over 27 points per game. He has the ability to carry the Miami Heat on offense if Butler or Adebayo are misfiring and is developing his game with each passing season.
