Aaron Gordon landed a massive new contract with the Denver Nuggets on Monday ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Gordon and the Nuggets agreed to a four-year, $133 million deal, which includes a player option for the 2028-29 season and a trade kicker.
"Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has agreed to a four-year, $133 million contract extension with the franchise, with a player option in 2028-29 and a trade kicker, Klutch Sports’ Calvin Andrews and Rich Paul, and Elise Gordon told ESPN," Shams announced on X (formerly Twitter).
Basketball fans were buzzing after the one-time champion secured a huge contract following three seasons with the Western Conference franchise.

Aaron Gordon joined the Denver Nuggets during the 2020-21 season and has since become an indispensable part of coach Mike Malone’s system. The veteran forward played a key role in the Nuggets' 2023 championship victory.
Over his three-and-a-half seasons with the team, Gordon has averaged 14.5 ppg on 54.2% shooting, including 32.1% from beyond the arc. He’s also contributed 6.1 rpg and 2.9 apg.
Last season, the former Orlando Magic standout averaged 13.9 popg, 6.5 rpg, and 3.5 apg over 73 games, shooting 55.6% from the field, including 29.0% from 3-point range.
