LeBron James added another remarkable milestone to his illustrious career during the Lakers' game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. He surpassed Michael Jordan's long-standing record for the most 30-point games in NBA history, cementing his place at the top of this exclusive list.
With his 563rd game scoring at least 30 points, LeBron eclipsed Jordan's mark of 562, sending social media into a frenzy as the 20-time All-Star left the basketball legend in his rearview mirror.

"Jordan holding that record whilst playing just 15 seasons is crazier than Bron surpassing him," commented another fan.
"watch people say only because he played longer but they wont talk how he has 300 less games than jordan with 25+ fga. If he lead the league in fga like jordan did everyyear he would have 1000 30 point games," a user wrote.
"He breaks records every week, but guys, can someone explain me why he only won 1 championship in 8 years playing for Lakers? I mean, Lakers are (next to Celtics) the biggest franquise in the league, you could win more than just 1," another user wrote.
"How is he just now passing him and he’s played 22 years? Longevity is overrated lmao," a user said.
"Each MJ 30-point game is like 20 LJ 30-point games," a fan said.
LeBron James on his fadeaway vs. Michael Jordan's
Following the Lakers' win over the Atlanta Hawks, LeBron James shared his thoughts on the differences between his fadeaway jumper and Michael Jordan's iconic shot.
"He was more of a left shoulder fadeaway guy," LeBron said. "I kind of go the opposite way. Just 2 masters of their craft."
In his 22nd season, the four-time champion continues to perform at an elite level. His standout performance against the Hawks once again highlighted his relentless work ethic and dedication.
LeBron reflected on what drives him to excel on the big stage, even as he recently turned 40.
"I don't even know at this point. I just love the game," the Lakers superstar said. "My son over there has given me more inspiration and reason to be out there. ... And I still have a little left in the tank."
Meanwhile, LeBron finished with 30 points, three rebounds and eight assists against the Hawks while shooting an efficient 13 of 20 from the field, including 2 of 5 from 3-point range.
