Former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo enters the 2024-25 NBA season injury-free and ready to pursue his second NBA championship. With Milwaukee's preseason set to tip on Oct. 6 against the Detroit Pistons, Antetokounmpo is in the final stages of preparation before training camp opens.

Antetokounmpo recently began an intense pilates routine that appeared to increase his strength and flexibility. If the former NBA champion's latest fitness regimen helps him remain healthy, he might enjoy a career season this fall.

Last year, Antetokounmpo shined during the regular campaign, appearing in 73 contests and averaging 30.4 points and 6.5 rebounds. However, he didn't appear in the postseason and his Bucks were eliminated in the first round.

That stated, Milwaukee fans still have high hopes for the upcoming season. In response to Antetokounmpo's Pilates workout, the NBA community weighed in on Instagram and X.

Examining the 2023-24 NBA season for Giannis Antetokounmpo and previewing the 2024-25 season for the Milwaukee Bucks

Last year, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks enjoyed a hot start. However, just 43 games into the season, the Bucks' front office decided to replace coach Adrian Griffin with Doc Rivers.

The move saw the Bucks struggle as they worked to establish a new identity under Rivers. While Giannis Antetokounmpo impressed during the regular season, in April he suffered a calf injury that sidelined him through the playoffs.

The Bucks also worked around an Achilles injury suffered by Damian Lillard that saw the veteran guard play just four of the team's six first-round games against the Indiana Pacers.

After returning to form, Lillard is ready to pursue an NBA title. Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo is eager to prove that despite his latest injury, he can still lead Milwaukee to another NBA Finals appearance.

Currently, the team is tied for fifth on FanDuel's NBA Championship betting odds. Yet, as we've seen in the past, Antetokounmpo's health will determine Milwaukee's success.
