Rapper 50 Cent continued his beef with Ja Rule after the Indiana Pacers eliminated the New York Knicks in the 2024 NBA playoffs. In his post on X, the "In da Club" artist trolled Jah and the handlers of the NBA championship trophy for allowing Ja Rule to touch and kiss it, stating,
"If you're wondering why the Knicks couldn't get the W, here you have it. SMH who let this fool touch the trophy," 50 Cent wrote.
Ja Rule, a devoted Knicks fan, was recently seen with the Larry O'Brien Trophy as part of the NBA's promotion. The trophy has been featured at numerous events, being handled by various celebrities.

Despite both rappers being from New York, their animosity remains strong. This incident has given 50 Cent new ammunition in his ongoing rivalry with Ja Rule, which dates back to 2000. Though they resolved their beef around 2011, it reignited in 2015 during Drake's feud with Meek Mill and flared up again in early 2018.
50 Cent, who has collaborated with several NBA teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic, seized the opportunity to jab at Ja Rule after the Knicks' loss, further fueling their long-standing feud.

The New York Knicks are going to Cancun after the Indiana Pacers prevailed in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series. The Knicks were down by 12 points after the first quarter and the Pacers didn't look back. Jalen Brunson struggled with his shot in the first half before injuring his hand in the third quarter.
New York's injury woes worsened as they failed to mount a comeback. Brunson finished with 17 points and nine assists. OG Anunoby played just five minutes due to injury and Josh Hart had 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists despite an abdominal strain.
Donte DiVincenzo had 39 points and four rebounds, while Alec Burks came off the bench to score 26 points,
As for the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton led the way with 26 points, four rebounds and six assists. Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard each had 20 points, while Aaron Nesmith contributed 19 points and four rebounds. They will face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.
