The Washington Wizards fell to 2-16 after 18 games into the 2024-25 NBA season. The capital team hasn't found its rhythm and is now the worst team in the entire NBA. After losing to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, they officially went an entire month without winning a game.
This infamous milestone drew a lot of attention, as it even caught the eye of a five-time NBA champion, Ron Harper. The former Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls guard reacted to the fact on X (formerly Twitter), using one word to sum up how this situation feels.
"Wow," the legend tweeted on Sunday.

Jordan Poole's team played their final November game on Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite a remarkable 31-point effort from Jordan Poole and 29 units from Malcolm Brogdon, the Wizards couldn't surpass the Bucks at Fiserv Forum, losing 124-114 after Giannis Antetokounmpo went off with a 42-point triple double to give Milwaukee its 10th win of the season and the Wizards the 16th defeat.
Despite having a mix of youth and experience, this squad hasn't been able to perform at a good level and it appears to be headed to the NBA lottery again after drafting Alex Sarr with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
Revisiting the Washington Wizards' terrible November record
This terrible run started on Nov. 2 against the Miami Heat. The Wizards were dominated 118-98 before hosting the Golden State Warriors on Nov. 4. They went on a five-game road trip, facing the Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks. They returned home on Nov. 17 to face the Detroit Pistons, a team that went through the same situation last season.
The next game was in New York against the Knicks before they hosted the Celtics. The Pacers were the next opponent before they played two games at home against the Chicago Bulls and LA Clippers, respectively. All these games led to Saturday night when the Bucks gave the Wizards the 14th loss of the month.
Before they entered this bad streak, they were 2-2, but now the season has taken a dark turn and there's no clear sign that Washington will improve soon.
They will return to the court on Tuesday against the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers. After that, the Mavericks, Nuggets and Grizzlies will visit them, which doesn't look very favorable for Washington.
