While Steph Curry may be "short" by NBA standards, he's still a tall man amongst non-basketball players. He made that clear when greeting soccer star Paul Pogba in a stadium tunnel during Team USA's exhibition play in Abu Dhabi.

The two shared a brief greeting and a handshake.

"Thank you for coming out," Curry said.
"Ah, no problem man. We enjoying it, thank you," Pogba replied.

Pogba is known for towering among other players on the soccer field, but fans were quick to point out he was no tower next to an NBA point guard.

"NBA players are giants man, the little chef Curry is almost the same height as Pogba," one user wrote.
"Can’t be the only one surprised that Paul and Steph same height," added another.

Pogba, who plays for Serie A club Juventus and has played for the French national team, is serving out a four-year-long doping ban, keeping him off the field until 2028. One fan joked about Pogba's height while poking fun at the ban.

"Pogba is so tall. 1.91 [meters] of pure doping (just kidding, Pogba was absurd when he wanted to play)," one fan wrote (translated from Portuguese).

Before his ban, Pogba struggled with injuries, but collected an array of trophies beforehand. He won a World Cup with France in 2018 and four league titles in Serie A. Steph Curry, meanwhile, is leading Team USA to a 3-0 start in their exhibition matches ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"Too much greatness here," a fan wrote.

Steph Curry's Team USA dominate Nikola Jokic's Serbia

Steph Curry had his first lights-out game of the summer for Team USA on Wednesday against Serbia.

The Golden State Warriors star shot 6-for-9 from three, finishing with 24 points in a 105-79 rout of the Serbian national team. He scored the team's first three field goals.

It was his first true breakout game for the guard, who is looking to take advantage of FIBA's slightly-closer 3-point line. He shot just 4-12 in the first two exhibition games.

Team USA held Nikola Jokic to 16 points and 11 rebounds but, most importantly, forced him to a poor 6-for-19 night shooting the ball. He only recorded two assists in a game where all eyes were on him.

Team USA plays their first 2024 Paris Olympics game against Serbia on July 28.
