Anthony Davis, the star of the Los Angeles Lakers, became the target of a joke on Sunday during their game against the Clippers. As Davis attempted a free throw, Clippers fans were seen shaving off his iconic unibrow on a cutout of his face. The fans were displayed on the big screen at the Intuit Dome, enjoying a good laugh at Davis's expense.
This hilarious stunt by the Clippers fans was posted on social media with a handle named "Bricks Centre" sharing the clip on X (formerly Twitter). Posting the snippet the account captioned the video with a short message:
"Clippers fans shaving AD’s unibrow," the caption read followed by multiple crying emojis.

Fans on social media were in splits over this interaction as one fan appreciated the innovation behind the heckle:
"Yo that was actually very creative lol," the fan wrote about the Anthony Davis cutout.
"AHAHAHAH no way..." commented another.
"I really love #ClipperNation so much," remarked a third.
A few more fans gave props to the Clippers fans' stunt.
"Alright, maybe Clipper Arena is better than the staple center" commented a fourth conceding to this hilarious move by the Clippers fan base.
"Man them boys tripping lol. They was supposed to put a wig as the unibrow though, then throw it on the court lol," another fan said.
Although most of the comments section seemed to enjoy this cruel joke a solitary Laker fan was there to defend Anthony Davis as he took to the comments to share his thoughts:
"This sh*t gonna hit really nice when AD drops a 20 point triple double on their headtop," he wrote showing solidarity with AD.
Despite the innovative way to distract a player, Anthony Davis converted the free throw without much complaint, as the Clippers fans' taunts didn't make much of a difference in the end.
The Clippers down Anthony Davis, Lakers as both teams look to clinch playoff berth
In what was their first meeting of the season, the Los Angeles Clippers triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers during the fixture as the game ended with a score of 116-102.
LeBron James' 25 points was not enough to lead his team to victory as Norman Powell's 22 points and James Harden and Zubac's 21 points each helped the Clippers secure a victory on Sunday. Anthony Davis had a relatively quiet game with just 16 points.
The game at the Intuit Dome was a special one as the two teams met days after the wildfires in Los Angeles tore up the community and left many stranded. Both teams paid their respects to those affected before the match and then went on to play an entertaining tie.
This 14-point win was the fourth consecutive victory for the Clippers and are currently 5th in the West with a 1.5 game lead over the Lakers who sit in sixth place. A win for the Lakers would have seen them jump to fifth but the Clippers at this point hold on to the spot with a slight lead.
Both teams will meet once again on February 4 at the Intuit Dome before playing back-to-back games at the Crypto.com Arena on February 28 and March 2.
