The NBA has a six-game slate on Sunday, including what is perhaps one of the most exciting games of the regular season thus far. The OKC Thunder, which is the best team in the West, is set to take on last year's champion, the Boston Celtics. This will be the first time these two teams face each other this season.

The league announced the officiating crew for this marquee matchup and the crew chief for the game will be Scott Foster. He will be joined by Mousa Dagher and Tom Washington who are the designated referee and the umpire respectively.

Scott Foster has earned a reputation among NBA fans for making controversial calls and has also been in the news over the years for his alleged beef with Chris Paul. He is also known as "The Extender" since fans believe that a team is able to stave off elimination in a playoff series when he officiates a game.

Meanwhile, other fans focused on a different official who has also earned notoriety from fans, Tony Brothers.

"I’m shocked…that Phony Brothers isn’t on the crew," one person said.
