Four-time NBA champion LeBron James is reportedly unavailable during the LA Lakers practice session on Wednesday. James missed his first game this season on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a sore left foot. However, his reason for missing the team's practice is listed differently.

According to reports, James is not available to practice with his team for personal reasons.

The timing of this report has led several fans to somehow link James' absence to rapper Jay-Z.

"After the Jay-Z news is crazy," one fan said.
"Spending time with Jay-Z," another person tweeted.
"He’s really not beating the Jay-Z Diddy allegations omg," one person said.

Meanwhile, other fans mentioned that James' absence could be related to a possible trade.

"Thinking about making that trade to the Warriors," one fan said.
"NAHHH WE GOING BACK TO CLEVELAND," another person tweeted.
"He saw what OKC did to Dallas last night and is demanding a trade to OKC," one person chimed in.

For context, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter has been accused of raping a girl. The allegations also say that Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved and that it happened after an awards show in 2000.

Aside from missing James, Austin Reaves is also unavailable due to a left pelvic contusion. Reaves has missed the Lakers' last five games.

NBA Insider reported that James is on the Golden State Warriors' radar

There have been no reports of a James trade request or news that the Lakers are looking to trade him. However, that does not mean that some teams won't try to pursue the 20-time NBA All-Star.

One of the teams that reportedly has James on their list of targets is Golden State. ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on "Get Up" that the Warriors may be monitoring James' situation with LA. However, he also reiterated that James has a no-trade clause. Additionally, the Lakers' front office is looking toward improving their roster to become legitimate contenders.

This is not the first time that the Warriors and James have been linked. As the NBA approached the trade deadline last season, Golden State reportedly inquired about the four-time MVP's availability.

However, any talks about trades were reportedly shut down by James' agent, Rich Paul. According to Marc Stein, Paul had conversations with both teams about staying away from trading James.

A pairing between James and Steph Curry could end up becoming one of the most interesting narratives if it happens. James and the Warriors used to be bitter rivals when they faced each other in four straight NBA Finals from 2015-2018.

Curry and the Warriors won all but one of those matchups, with the one loss happening in 2016 when James and the Cleveland Cavaliers came back from being down 3-1 to win the championship.

James and Curry have already teamed up, but it happened on the international stage when they played for Team USA during the Paris Olympics.
