Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha Curry showed support for presumed Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris in an Instagram story on Friday. The video in the story shows Kamala Harris interacting with former First Lady Michelle Obama. This endorsement comes after Steph Curry's endorsement of the Democrats.

The Golden State Warriors star is in Lille to take part in the Paris 2024 Olympics under the coaching of Steve Kerr. Both Kerr and Curry have previously shown their support for the Democrats in various situations and been vocal critics of the Republican Party.

Kamala Harris, a longtime fan of the Golden State Warriors, met with the U.S. men's national basketball team earlier this month. Curry says he aims to bring a gold medal home for the USA to provide Kamala Harris' campaign with the needed impetus:

“She represents the Bay Area. She’s been a big supporter of us, so I want to give that energy back to her.”

When probed about his opinion on the upcoming election, Curry said:

“It’s a very interesting time for our country, for sure. The fact that President Biden gave the endorsement, Vice President Harris is primed to bring her energy to this campaign and, hopefully if she’s on the ticket, winning the election. It’s a big deal, to say the least.”

What are Steph and Ayesha Curry's political leanings?

The Currys have been vocal critics of former President Donald Trump, since his first term in office. Steph and Ayesha Curry are friends with Barack Obama and publicly endorsed current President Joe Biden before the 2020 elections by way of a taped message on television.

"We want to ensure that our kids live in a nation that is safe, happy, healthy and fair, and so this election. We’re voting for Joe Biden.” — Ayesha Curry

Curry, one of the most recognizable sports stars of his generation and the face of Under Armour, also rebuked the brand's CEO in 2017 when he described Donald Trump as a "real asset."
