Boston Celtics big man Al Horford’s sister, Anna Horford, is a loud and unrelenting critic of Donald Trump. She has repeatedly taken shots at the next president of the United States over the past few years. Horford wrote on X, formerly Twitter, last month that she thought Trump and Elon Musk cheated in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
On Tuesday, Anna went on X to lash out at Trump again. Horford did not hold back from blasting him:
“Tr*mp truly isn’t funny or entertaining. He’s quite literally evil & dangerous & stands for fascism.”

Just before Anna Horford wrote the scathing criticism of Donald Trump, she reposted a tweet about the latest on Trump and Canada. The tweet came out after Trump said he wanted to use “economic force” to make Canada part of the U.S. He ruled out military action but would look at an economic option to achieve that goal.
Since winning the election, the incoming president has talked about making Canada the 51st state of the U.S. on several occassions.
Justin Trudeau, who resigneoccasionsd as the Canadian Prime Minister on Monday, blasted Trump’s goal:
“There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States. Workers and communities in both our countries benefit from being each other’s biggest trading and security partner.”
Anna Horford seems to agree with Trudeau’s point but did not mince her words to push back against Donald Trump.
Anna Horford reacts to Kamala Harris certifying Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election
On Monday, in the joint session of Congress, Kamala Harris certified Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 U.S. presidential elections. Harris, the vice president, was the Democrat’s standard-bearer who lost to Trump, the Republican candidate.
Al Horford’s sister, Anna Horford, reacted to the event:
“No follow up on his election interference?? Spineless. We’re all in danger.”
The election interference charges Trump faced had been dismissed since the Justice Department can’t charge a sitting president. Trump begins his second term as the U.S. president on Jan. 20. For this reason, the allegations of Trump trying to overturn the 2020 election result to his favor have ended.
When the charges were dropped in late November, Al Horford's sister ripped Donald Trump, writing "the law doesn't apply to you."
