Al Horford's wife Amelia Vega shares son's Celtics' Championship glory prophecy in heartwarming note: "It started when dad told me"

Boston Celtics' Al Horford has become an NBA champion. Horford played 186 games in the playoffs before he won his first-ever NBA title. His wife, Amelia Vega, was proud of him. In a never-ending series of pictures and posts that Vega shared on her social media, one was the prophecy that her son made just a month ago.

Vega posted a picture of the prophecy that her son, Ean, had made on May 9. He had written on white paper with a green pencil that he dreamt the Boston Celtics had won the championship.

Vega shared the story that she had posted in May.

“I dreamed that Bos won championship. It started when DAD told me to come to bench the confetti fell I ran to half court and cried with happy tears a hug with mom and dad I grabbed the Larry O’Brian Trophy. The END,” the text in the picture said.

Ean is the eldest son of Al Horford and Amelia Vega. He was born in 2015, four years after Horford and Vega tied the knot. They have five children together.

Winning the title was perhaps the biggest moment in Horford’s professional career. He won the first title of his career after 17 seasons in the NBA. He played his first nine seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and then six seasons with the Celtics. He also played with the OKC Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers, for one season each.
