NBA fans reacted to Amen Thompson posing with a “Boo Tyler Herro” poster after a win against the Memphis Grizzlies. While the Houston Rockets star was signing autographs for the fans in the stands, a fan showed up with the aforementioned poster.

For reference, the Rockets played the Miami Heat at Toyota Center on December 29. Before an inbound pass by the Heat in the last seconds, Amen Thompson and Tyler Herro got into a physical scuffle, leading to the former throwing the latter to the ground.

Thompson was later suspended by the NBA for 2 games.

After signing his autograph, Thompson asked the security if he could pose with the poster.

Reacting to the video, one of the fans wrote that Thompson owned Herro.

"Amen owns that skinny white kid 😭😭," the fan wrote.

However, another fan threw shade at the Rockets player saying Herro made him relevant.

"Tyler Herro made this dude relevant lmao props to Herro," the fan wrote.

There were also some fans who just wanted it to develop into a rivalry, something that the NBA needed.

"Please let this turn into a real rivalry 🙏🏾🙏🏾," one of the fans wrote.
"THIS IS WHAT THE NBA NEEDS AGAIN. REAL RIVALRIES 🔥," another fan wrote.
"looks like he's already stirring up some fun rivalry energy," yet another fan wrote.

Some of the fans even warned Thompson not to mess with Herro because it would age horribly.

"I hope you realize this is going to age horribly," a fan wrote.
"Hopefully he realizes that Herro is way (better) than he'll ever be," another fan wrote.

The Miami Heat will play the Rockets in March for the second and last time in the 2024-25 season. Unlike the first time, their next game will be the Heat's home game and perhaps Herro will be ready with his answer.

LeBron James had ultimate praise for Amen Thompson after Lakers vs Rockets

The LA Lakers and the Houston Rockets met each other for the first time this season on January 5. Despite a game-high 33 points by Jalen Green, Amen Thompson was the main story of the contest.

Amen Thompson scored a season-high 23 points in the 119-115 win against the Lakers. He scored 23 points on 11 of 19 shooting from the field. He also had a game-high 16 rebounds [6 offensive], 3 assists and a steal in the game. The young rising star turned the game in the Rockets' favor with his remarkable athleticism.

After the game, LeBron James heaped the ultimate praise on the 21-year-old Rockets player.

“Cade Cunningham said it best: They’re different,” James said. “They ain’t like the rest of us. I’ve been able to go against some dudes in my career, and those two guys, man, they’re just pure athleticism. They love the game, and you love to see that.”

After averaging 9.5 points in his rookie season, Amen Thompson is averaging 12.4 points on 56.2% shooting in his second year. Not only his minutes have increased, he is also playing excellent basketball on both ends. He is also averaging 7.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
