Jalen Suggs was ruled out of the Orlando Magic's game against the Boston Celtics on Friday, a matchup they lost 121-94. As is standard protocol for injured players, Suggs was in regular attire on the sidelines and cheering on his teammates, and when the broadcast zoomed in on him, the angle highlighted his hairline.

Fans took to X to discuss it:

"Just let it go bro. It's over."

"At some point you got to feel bad for Jalen Suggs" one fan posted.
"The minerals in the water have not been generous. Time to let it go," another said.
"Looks good to me!" one fan said.
"Let him live 😭😭😭," another said.

Many fans felt the need to mention Suggs' girlfriend and fellow basketball player, Hailey Van Lith:

"And he's dating Hailey Van Lith. Respect," a fan remarked.

Others felt he looked like Derrick White:

"Derrick White gotta talk to him…and they kinda look alike," one fan said.

Meanwhile, Suggs will look to get back on the court as soon as possible and show the defensive prowess that got him named to the 2022-2024 NBA All-Defensive Second Team.

The Magic will be desperate for him to return too, as the heavy loss to Celtics was preceded by a 122-93 defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks. Orlando has lost five of its last seven games without Suggs, a run of form that has seen the team fall down to sixth in the Eastern Conference.

Jalen Suggs considered day-to-day following back injury against Raptors

Jalen Suggs is currently listed as day-to-day after suffering back spasms against the Toronto Raptors on January 3. Suggs originally left the game in a wheelchair. The injury has officially been listed as a back strain and has caused Suggs to miss six straight games, including the Magic's most recent game against the Celtics.

Orlando Sentinel reporter Jason Beede shared this video to X showing Suggs partaking in some pre-game warmup drills before tonight's game.

Suggs appears to be on the right track to return to play soon enough. The Magic's next game will be on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets. Suggs will have a day's rest before their next contest and it might be enough for him to be able to play on Sunday.
