Anthony Davis heaped praise on Ivica Zubac following the LA Lakers’ 116-102 loss to the LA Clippers on Sunday. Davis had an underwhelming outing and was thoroughly outplayed by Zubac, who dominated the game from start to finish.
The Lakers center highlighted Zubac’s growth as a player, noting how the former Laker, now on a three-year, $58,650,480 contract, has significantly developed his game and become a versatile threat on multiple levels.
"He’s (Ivica Zubac)worked on his post game," Davis said. "That jump hook. He’s always been a good screener. Good roller. Lob threat. Offensive rebounder.
"Good rim protector. He’s developed his post game, where they’re throwing it to him and he’s finishing with his right hook. He’s added that to his arsenal."
