Anthony Davis and the LA Lakers hosted the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season. AD and his team looked to sweep the head-to-head duel with another victory.
Davis had 10 points and two assists in the first quarter to lead the Lakers to a 40-31 lead. AD, who often has a tough time against Kings big man Domantas Sabonis, got off to a superb start on both ends of the floor.
Lakers coach JJ Redick continued to go to Anthony Davis without LeBron James in the lineup. AD had Sabonis in early foul trouble, so the Kings responded by sending double teams when the All-Star big man had the ball.
