Anthony Davis and the LA Lakers hosted the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season. AD and his team looked to sweep the head-to-head duel with another victory.

Davis had 10 points and two assists in the first quarter to lead the Lakers to a 40-31 lead. AD, who often has a tough time against Kings big man Domantas Sabonis, got off to a superb start on both ends of the floor.

Lakers coach JJ Redick continued to go to Anthony Davis without LeBron James in the lineup. AD had Sabonis in early foul trouble, so the Kings responded by sending double teams when the All-Star big man had the ball.

Anthony Davis had his best stretch against the Sacramento Kings in the third quarter. Davis had 11 points, six rebounds and five assists to help turn a one-point deficit to a 107-90 lead before the start of the fourth period.

JJ Redick kept Davis on the bench after a spectacular third-quarter performance. Redick put AD back with 8:16 remaining in the game. The Sacramento Kings continued to struggle to defend the superstar center. Davis again impacted the game on both ends to carry the Lakers to a 132-122 win.

Anthony Davis played his best game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday

Before the game on Saturday, Anthony Davis averaged 20.7 points on 47.2% shooting against the Sacramento Kings in three games. The LA Lakers were 3-0 versus their former rivals mainly because of LeBron James.

Without the four-time MVP, AD carried his team. Davis' 35 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists were season-best numbers against the Kings. His shooting split of 75%/100%/84.6% was also the best when facing Domantas Sabonis and Co.

AD did not record a block against the Kings after averaging 3.0 per game but still adequately protected the paint. He patrolled the interior and altered multiple shots near the rim.
