Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards spoke to the media after his team's 93-92 win over the Clippers which ended their 4-game losing streak. Discussing the course of the game and his battle with James Harden on the court, the youngster was asked about his relationship with 'The Beard' and how it felt being the face of the $40 billion-worth Adidas alongside him.
Explaining that they first spoke when he was still in high school, Edwards revealed that he was a fan of the former MVP. Talking about their on-court battle during the fixture, Edwards revealed that there was a little trash talking but nothing significant:
"That's my man. I have been a fan of Harden since I was in High School, He wrote me when I was like in High School on Instagram and you know we have just been locked in ever since, that's my guy man. Yeah, I was just talking a little trash to him, but that was definitely a foul" he joked about their matchup.

An interviewer then pointed out that the two were now the faces of Adidas, leading Ant to describe it as a "full circle" moment:
"That's what's crazy like you know, it came back in full effect so that's what's dope. And that's what we were talking about too out there," stated Ant relishing the moment.
Despite the camaraderie the two men battled it out on the court as both sides were defensively strong. In the end, Edwards trumped over Harden as he outscored him by a single point on the night.
Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves snap a 4-game losing streak
Before their win against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Target Center on Friday, the Minnesota Timberwolves were winless in their last four games. The team had suffered back-to-back losses at their home ground and suffered defeats on the road as well.
Despite being one of the strongest teams on paper, the Timberwolves have been unable to find consistency especially after the departure of Karl Anthony-Towns during the off-season. Anthony Edwards has been their one shining light and is averaging 28.1 point per game.
The Ant-Man was the hero on the night against the Clippers as well scoring 21 points and leading his team to victory. Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert had the Clippers attack on lockdown while Mike Conley's 3-5 shooting from beyond the arch helped secure the Timberwolves first win in over a week.
Currently holding a 9-10 record and in 11th place in the Western Conference, the Timberwolves will be hoping that this is a sign of change. After cementing themselves as one of the best teams in the conference last season, the Minnesota team will hope to get back to the playoff places at the earliest.
