Anthony Edwards' girlfriend Jeanine Robel hilariously agrees to Timberwolves star's best friend's shoe idea for daughter Aislynn
In an Instagram post shared by the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this week, Anthony Edwards' best friend, Nick Maddox, had a suggestion for the Timberwolves star's daughter while trying on a pair of Adidas AE1s. Maddox hilariously asked if the kicks would be available in mini sizes so that Edwards' daughter, Aislynn, could wear them too.
"Aye do they make these for babies so that Aislynn can wear them too?" Maddox can be heard questioning.
Edwards' girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, shared the video to her Instagram story and hilariously agreed to Nick Maddox's idea.
"Aislynn definitely need her pair," Jeannie wrote on her story.
The AE1s featured in the video is a special colorway dedicated to Maddox, named "Nick's Gift." Edwards shared a video on Instagram in which he surprised Maddox, a.k.a. "Slick," as he led him to an AE-colored truck that contained the bright blue body and black border kicks.
"You know I had to get my patna right. This is for you, Sac. Believe That," Edwards captioned the post.
Calling it the "Slick AE1s," Anthony Edwards promised his best friend that he would hoop wearing the colorway. Maddox was visibly ecstatic and responded with excitement.
"Hey you know what? I don't even want these to touch the ground. I got my own shoe, what? Yeah, yeah, we are going to have these in the commercials, you know. Believe that Let's go!" Maddox replied.
According to reports, the Slick AE1s will hit the market on Dec. 14 and will be available at select retail Adidas stores and on its website for $110.
