Minnesota Timberwolves superstar wing Anthony Edwards showed out in front of his girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, during Monday's 108-106 comeback home win over the LA Clippers. One of Edwards' clutch 3-pointers seemingly left Robel in disbelief as she reacted on social media.
After Minnesota fell behind by 19 points in the first half, Edwards spearheaded his squad's second-half surge, scoring 28 of his game-high 37 points. The two-time All-Star nearly triple-doubled, finishing with seven rebounds, eight assists and six 3s, shooting 14-for-29 (48.3%).
Among Edwards' biggest plays were two contested late-game triples that swung the game in the Timberwolves' favor. The first put them up 103-101 with 1:12 remaining. A play later, he hit a deep dagger long ball to extend Minnesota's lead to 106-101 with 34.4 seconds left.

After the clutch shot, Edwards passionately celebrated, shouting and gesturing as his home crowd erupted in cheers.

Robel, sitting courtside, documented the moment on her Instagram stories, simply writing, "OMG" followed by a fire emoji.

Minnesota's much-needed victory snapped a three-game losing streak, moving it back over .500 (18-17). Meanwhile, Edwards' 37-point performance marked his eighth 30-plus-point outing of the season and second straight. He recorded a career-best 53 points during Saturday's 119-105 road loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Anthony Edwards extends league-leading 3-point tally in front of his GF Jeanine Robel
While the Timberwolves have had an up-and-down campaign, Anthony Edwards' outside shooting prowess has remained consistent.
In hitting six treys in front of his girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, on Monday, Edwards extended his NBA-leading season-long 3-point total to 147. The 2020 No. 1 draft pick has hit 14 more 3s than the next-highest player (Detroit Pistons shooting guard Malik Beasley). So, barring injury, he appears well on his way to securing this season's 3-point crown.
Edwards will look to maintain his hot streak on Tuesday when Minnesota visits the lowly New Orleans Pelicans (7-29), winners of two straight contests.
