Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and LeBron James will look to join forces for the first time at the Olympics this summer. After a disappointing finish for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup last year, the three NBA superstars agreed to team up for the Olympics, where Curry will look to win his first Olympic gold medal.
Given that the team will be looking to avenge Team USA's loss at the FIBA World Cup, many have named them the Redeem Team 2.0. At the same time, given the star-studded lineup of future Hall of Famers on the roster, others have dubbed the 2024 US Men's Basketball team the Dream Team 2.0.
Ahead of the start of the Olympic games later this week, Steph Curry revealed in an interview with Marc J Spears that he, James, and Durant recreated the iconic Team USA photo of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson.

LeBron James and Steph Curry could wind up playing opening game of Olympics without Kevin Durant
Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, there has been quite a bit of concern surrounding Kevin Durant's status. When he arrived at Team USA's training camp earlier this month, Durant was dealing with a calf strain sustained before the start of training camp.
While Kawhi Leonard wound up being replaced on Team USA, despite missing every single international friendly leading up to the start of the Olympics, Steve Kerr made it clear that the team wouldn't be replacing KD on the Team USA roster.
The situation has been a major talking point in the basketball community, with fans questioning why the team isn't looking to play it safe and bring another star in, such as Jaylen Brown, to replace Durant.
On Wednesday, Steve Kerr spoke with media members, revealing that Durant was feeling good after participating in practice on Wednesday. In addition, he also explained that the plan is for Durant to participate in practice and a live scrimmage on Thursday before heading to Paris.
In the meantime, NBA insider Brian Windhorst has revealed that Steph Curry and LeBron James could wind up playing the opening game of the Group Phase without Durant, a report that has been refuted by Kevin Durant's manager.
With plenty still up in the air, it will be interesting to see how things unfold for the big three of Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant.
