The NBA offseason has been filled with trades and free agent signings and Paul George's move to the Philadelphia 76ers was considered one of the most impactful. On Sunday, Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey officially welcomed the All-Star by sharing a photo of the player with the caption: "Welcome to the @sixers."

It has been barely a week since the deal for George was announced and the ink now seems to be dry on one of the biggest deals for the 76ers in years. The California native chose to move on from the Los Angeles Clippers after five seasons and agreed to a lucrative four-year, $211.4 million deal with the 76ers.

Morey posted the photo on his Instagram account. Paul George can be seen alongside the basketball executive, Dr. J (76ers legend Julius Erving) and other members of the organization.

One aspect of the image that seemed to capture fans' attention was the fact that everyone in the photo had removed their shoes before entering George's home. It seemed to delight many fans with one calling it a "W" for the player.

"Average Paul George W," said @Ufcbatman.
"That's his wife's influence," said a fan.
"Everyone should say this! Shoes are nasty! Is this not standard in every house?," another fan tweeted.
"Good rule to have actually keeps the house clean," added another fan.
"Wearing shoes in the crib is crazy," said one fan.

George is as close to a complete player as you can find. He is capable of scoring, dribbling, passing and playing defense at a high level. The 34-year-old is a nine-time All-Star and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team on two occasions.

Sixers fans will be delighted to see George settled and ready to get to work. The team has failed to win an NBA title since 1983 and has not been to the finals since 2001.

The addition of Paul George to a talented roster makes the 76ers one of the favorites in the East next season

The defending champion Boston Celtics remains the team to beat in the East, but the 76ers have been active during the offseason. Along with Paul George Daryl Morey has added some firepower with Eric Gordon and Caleb Martin joining the roster. Center Andre Drummond was picked up to add a defensive presence and Kelly Oubre Jr. also re-signed with the organization.

The Sixers finished with a 47-35 record but with a big three of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, there will be high expectations for this roster.
