The Miami Heat social media team subtly trolled Bam Adebayo after A'ja Wilson was declared the unanimous WNBA MVP for the 2024 season. This is only the second time in the history of the league a player has been named unanimous MVP.

With a not-so-subtle jab at their star player, the social media team of the Heat wrote,

"A’random photo of Bam on this lovely Sunday 🏀," the Heat X handle wrote.

The use of the "A'random" was a signal back to one of Adebayo's tweets after Wilson had become the first player to score 1000 points in a single WNBA season. Not too difficult to catch that A'random word also alludes to A'ja Wilson's name.

Bam Adebayo, like his followers, didn't find it difficult to decipher the Heat's social media jab. He also posted a hilarious reaction to the post.

Take a look below.

A'ja Wilson won her third WNBA MVP this season. Previously, she won the MVP awards in the 2020 and 2022 seasons. Wilson has also won the WNBA Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Year twice in her career.

Bam Adebayo has been heaping praise for A'ja Wilson throughout the WNBA season

The Miami Heat star has been nothing but supportive of the Las Vegas Aces star. Interestingly, long before being declared the unanimous MVP, Adebayo had already named her "U'nanimous."

After she broke Jewell Loyd's single-season total scoring record [923], Adebayo dropped the tweet to show his support.

After Wilson became the first player to record 1000 points in a single season earlier this month, Adebayo again dropped a post on X in dedication to Wilson.

"Hope everybody finds A’thousand reasons to smile on this lovely Sunday. 😁," Adebayo wrote.

Wilson set a new WNBA scoring record this season with 1,021 total points in 2024 points. She is the only player to record the four-digit mark. Last season, she also recorded the WNBA's fourth-highest total points [912].

Adebayo will return with the Miami Heat for his next season later this year. Wilson and the Aces, on the other hand, will play the Seattle Storm in the first round of the WNBA playoffs.
