LeBron James' iconic block is Mike Breen's favorite call
During the NBA Finals, Mike Breen gets the chance to call the games for ABC. He's had the opportunity to call games and recently shared which moment stood out the most for him.
According to the seasoned broadcaster, his call during LeBron James' block against Andre Iguodala in the 2016 NBA Finals is his all-time favorite.
"The block against [the] Golden State [Warriors] when they won the tite, that has to be it.," Breen said when asked which call is his favorite.
"It meant so much to him to win one there. And that's what I thought that was so cool. He wins a couple in Miami and now he goes there and this one almost meant more to him."
"Cause that first one, the joy on his face when they won in Miami, but for him to do it in Cleveland and do it with a block. It showed what it meant to him. The hunger that he went after that title was pretty amazing. Especially, the way that series went. Down 3-1, it's over. Golden State's winning again. And then they come back and do it on the road that play."
During the 2016 NBA Finals, James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a Finals rematch against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriros had an early 3-1 lead before LeBron and the Cavs completed a comeback.
What's more impressive is that the Warriors won 73 games that season, giving them the best regular season record. Many expected them to win it all and win a second-straight title.
