So far, LiAngelo hasn't said whether or not he's going to release the song. During the live stream where LiAngelo debuted the song, N3on told the NBA hopeful that his chat wanted him to drop the song.
LiAngelo simply said that the song wasn't out "yet." Because of that, and Lonzo Ball saying that there's more to come, there may be a chance that he will release the song in the future.
On top of the hundreds of thousands of views that the song has generated, at the time of publication, Lonzo Ball's post on X racked up 669,000 views, and more than 10,000 likes.
Will LiAngelo Ball play in the NBA again? Looking at the latest news surrounding his NBA future
Over the years, LiAngelo Ball has had several different stints in the G League and in the NBA's Summer League. Despite that, he has struggled to secure a guaranteed deal in the NBA.
Back in November, LiAngelo said during an appearance on Angel Reese's "Unapologetically Angel" podcast that teams overseas have shown an interest in signing him, but what he really wants is a chance to play in the NBA's G League again.
The last time we saw LiAngelo competing for an NBA team was with the Charlotte Hornets summer league team heading into the 2022-23 season. After then missing the entirety of the 2023-24 season, there have been some doubts about his chances of getting back in the NBA now.
While he's said that he has to get to the G League, Lonzo has urged his brother to go play overseas to drum up some attention rather than hoping for a chance to play limited minutes in the NBA's G League.
In the meantime, it looks like he may have a rap career on his hands based on the response to his song.
