Josh Giddey was praised for his dominant performance against the Brooklyn Nets, leading his team to a 26-point win on Monday. The Chicago Bulls star notched a triple-double with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.

After a slow start with his new team, Giddey announced himself at United Center.

This performance earned him the plaudits of many fans on the internet, with many taking to X (formerly Twitter) to praise his performance against the Nets, with one handle even comparing Giddey to LeBron James:

This performance earned Giddey widespread praise on X (formerly Twitter). One user even compared him to LeBron James.

"Better than LeBron James," a fan said.
"Josh Gooooddeyy balled out tonight! Good to see," another fan said.

"Josh Giddey’s triple-double performance shows his all-around game is on fire!"a fan commented.

After being traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this season, Giddey has begun showcasing his talents in the Windy City as the Bulls aim for a playoff spot.

Josh Giddey's performance for the Bulls so far

Traded by the Thunder to the Bulls for Alex Caruso, many doubted the deal when it was announced. Bulls fans were unhappy to lose one of the league's best role players in exchange for a young player with off-court concerns.

Despite this huge concern, the higher-ups in Chicago were convinced of Giddey's ability, as they hoped to get a long-term replacement for Lonzo Ball. Ball's injuries have deprived the team of a quick ball-handling guard, and the former OKC man seems to fit right into this void.

Although Giddey's tenure didn't start in the best light, with him only averaging 10.6 points in his first ten games, the guard began building his form. While he is averaging just 12.1 points right now, it shows his growth.

Furthermore, the star played 32 minutes against the Nets on Monday night, which was the most by any player in the starting five. This extended playing period has worked well for Giddey, who is finally becoming an important player within the Bulls' line-up.
