Bradley Beal's wife, Kamiah Adams, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram for her grandfather on Friday, sharing that her grandpa died. While she didn’t provide details about his death, Adams recalled all good times they shared while she was growing up. She shared on social media that her "Popo" is her favorite person in the world.

It appears that Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal also feels the same way about his wife's grandfather. Beal was also featured in the collage of photos Kamiah Adams uploaded. While he kept his expression brief and didn’t share as many emotions as his wife, his two words in the comment section were enough to show how much he cared.

"My man," Beal commented on Adams' Instagram post.

Bradley Beal continues to struggle with ankle injury

Bradley Beal has been out of the Phoenix Suns lineup for two nights in a row. The first time he was ruled out was on Thursday when the Suns went up against his former team, the Washington Wizards. Beal suffered from a left ankle sprain when Phoenix took on the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, his ankle injury lingered until Saturday, as he also missed the Suns' most recent game against the Detroit Pistons. Fortunately for Phoenix, Nick Richards stepped up to the occasion to act as the third star to help Devin Booker and Kevin Durant secure a 125-121 victory.

In Beal's absence, Richards filled the void and put up a double-double performance. The newly acquired Suns big man added 21 points and 11 rebounds. As for Booker and Durant, both stars put up high-scoring numbers to seal the deal against the Pistons.

KD posted an all-around game, adding 36 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals. Booker, on the other hand, put up 35 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal. Their efforts helped Phoenix notch their second straight win. However, they'll be put to the test on Monday as they're about to face the best team in the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As for Bradley Beal, there are no reports on when he is expected to return to the lineup. However, given the passing of his wife's grandfather, it might become a factor in the further delay of his return to the hardwood.
