Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns took on the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The Suns came from a heartbreaking loss against the Indiana Pacers last Saturday and looked to redeem themselves against the Sixers. In their last outing, Beal didn't play well as he only put up eight points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.
Up against the 76ers, Beal was off to a cold start. The Suns' sixth man struggled to find his rhythm as he only made two out of five shot attempts. Keeping the game within reach for Phoenix was Kevin Durant, who purely scored for the entire first half. Durant added seven points and shot an efficient 42.9% in the half.
Come the third quarter, Bradley Beal popped off and carried the Phoenix Suns to secure a third-quarter lead. Beal added 14 more points and didn’t miss any of his shot attempts. Helping him on offense was Kevin Durant, who added more than eight points to his total score.
Ultimately, the Suns came out on top with a 109-99 victory over the Sixers. Beal took over Monday night with 25 points and five assists to knockdown Philadelphia. Unfortunately for the 76ers, Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr.’s efforts weren’t enough to stop the duo of Beal and Durant.
