LA Lakers rookie Bronny James provided a highlight moment during the team's 74-88 loss against the Boston Celtics in the Summer League game on Monday. Applause and cheers echoed inside the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas when LeBron James' son Bronny displayed his athleticism.
The moment transpired when the Lakers turned the ball over with 7:03 remaining in the 1st quarter. The Celtics raced to a 4-on-1 fast break in transition, with Bronny James being the only Lakers defender in sight.
The No.55 draft pick didn't give up on the play, which denied the Celtics a highlight moment. Bronny James leaped high in the air and blocked a Celtics player's attempted lob. The ball went out of bounds and the Celtics retained possession. More importantly for the Lakers, it was Bronny's intent and desire to not give up on the play that caught the attention.
