There has been a narrative online about LeBron James lying about certain subjects throughout his career. Fans recently went into a tailspin online after a clip of him being called out by a fellow pro athlete resurfaced.

The clip going around online is from an old episode of The Shop with NFL cornerback Jalen Ramsey. During the episode, LeBron claimed that Ramsey's coach watches him play Madden because of how he deploys the star defensive back. The Miami Dolphins star clapped back at LeBron, bringing up what is said online about him being a liar.

As this clip made the rounds again, NBA fans poked fun at James in the comment section of X.

Other fans continued to bring up the narrative that the LA Lakers star has a history of fabricating the truth.

"bron top 5 greatest cappers ever," one fan tweeted.
"Got the hat on for a reason," another fan tweeted.
"Lecap," one fan tweeted.

Since being drafted fifth overall in 2016, Ramsey has solidified himself as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL. He's been selected for the Pro Bowl seven times and received All-Pro honors thrice. That said, Ramsey's biggest accomplishment was winning a Super Bowl as a member of the LA Rams.

LeBron James helped Steph Curry elevate his play during the 2024 Olympics

It was a busy summer for LeBron James, who opted to return to international play. At 39, he joined a star-studded Team USA roster for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

After battling in the NBA Finals for over a decade, LeBron and Steph Curry added a new chapter to their story this summer. The Olympics allowed them to share the floor on the same team.

Curry started slowly in the Olympics but came alive in the semifinals and gold medal game. While on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the Golden State Warriors star admitted that his confidence boost came from LeBron James.

"I was doing an interview, as he was talking asking me the same questions ‘What’s wrong with your shot? Are you worried about it?’ Positive self talk came out I was like ‘No, we’re winning, I know a flurry is coming,’" Curry said (3:30). "As soon as I said that, Bron walks behind me and he like ‘damn right it is.’"
"It caught me off guard because I still had to get used to liking that guy because of all of our battles. It was definitely a confidence boost."

Aside from helping Curry get on track, LeBron helped Team USA from an on-court standpoint. The 20-time All-Star took home MVP honors after averaging 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 8.5.
