The LA Lakers will hold Bronny James' introductory press conference on Tuesday, according to a report from NBA insider Jovan Buha. The news comes on the heels of the Lakers selecting Dalton Knecht and Bronny James in this year's NBA draft earlier in the week. Knecht was selected in the first round on Night 1 of the draft, and Bronny James was then selected in the second round.

In the case of Knecht, the expectation is that he will be a key contributor for LA this season, albeit in a limited capacity. With an impressive 3-point shot, he will be tasked with providing the team with valuable minutes, where the hope is he will be able to punish teams from downtown.

In the case of Bronny James, the second-generation hooper will be looking to develop under head coach JJ Redick and his coaching staff. Below, you can see the details for Bronny James' introductory press conference:

How to watch: Live-streaming on YouTube

The press conference doesn't have a scheduled video on the LA Lakers' YouTube account; however, the expectation is that various media outlets will stream it.

In addition, given that the Lakers live-streamed JJ Redick's introductory press conference on their YouTube channel, they will likely do the same on Tuesday.

Rob Pelinka reveals JJ Redick and his staff are already putting together a plan for Bronny James' development

While there has been plenty of talk regarding Bronny not being an NBA-ready prospect, the Lakers seem fine with taking things slow. Even though Bronny James is the son of LeBron James, the team seems to be confident that he will develop into a talented 3-and-D player.

As general manager Rob Pelinka explained after drafting Bronny, the team believes he has the skills to guard multiple positions. In addition, despite struggling from downtown in college, Bronny notably shot 19-25 in the NBA Draft Combine's shooting drill, finishing second among all participants.

Given that, Pelinka and newly-appointed coach JJ Redick are eager to see his development in the years to come. Following the second round of the draft, Pelinka spoke to media members:

"JJ Redick and his staff are already putting a plan together for Bronny and how they want to develop him into an elite two-way player."

As veteran NBA guard CJ McCollum explained this week on ESPN, Bronny likely won't get much playing time and many opportunities on the court early on in his career.

The way he sees things, Bronny will be a part of the "stay ready team," meaning he will work behind the scenes with coaches to develop while waiting on an opportunity to shine.

Whether that opportunity comes later this season as a result of injuries, or his sophomore year once he's had time to develop, we'll have to wait and see.
