Bronny James and the LA Lakers registered their second win in the Summer League with a close 93-89 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Thursday. James had his best game of the season with 13 points — besting his 12 from the previous game against the Atlanta Hawks.
The No. 55 overall pick showed up in the final quarter with five points and two rebounds as he and Dalton Knecht (20 points and seven rebounds) did the bulk of the damage. It was an inspiring effort for LA who under the watchful eyes of Lakers head coach JJ Redick managed to get their second win on the bounce.
Bronny James saw just over 25 minutes of action and finished with 13 points, shooting 5-of-10 from the field, 1-of-3 from the deep, and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He also added five rebounds, three assists and two blocks to his tally.
