The Golden State Warriors were stunned 128-120 by the Brooklyn Nets at Chase Center on Monday. The loss marks the second one on the bounce for the Dubs, who came in for their home game after a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. As for the visitors, the Nets will be confident after getting the better of two top-heavy West teams, the Warriors and the Sacramento Kings, whom they edged out earlier.
Dennis Schroder and Cam Thomas orchestrated Brooklyn's win. While the Warriors started strong and went into halftime with a 67-58 lead, they were thoroughly outplayed on both ends of the floor in the second half. The Nets will be without Ben Simmons, Bojan Bogdanović, Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith, Noah Clowney, Day'Ron Sharpe, and Jaylen Martin.
The Warriors missed the services of Jonathan Kuminga, Pat Spencer, Quinten Post, De'Anthony Melton and Reece Beekman.

Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors recap
The Golden State Warriors were put under the pump early as the Brooklyn Nets carved up a quick lead. The hosts were able to bounce back but were in turnover trouble early on with five in just the first quarter. Despite getting the better of Brooklyn on points in the paint (12-4) and fast break points (11-6), the Warriors still trailed 34-30 to end the first stretch.
It was an improved second quarter as the Warriors quickly overtook the Nets with a better offensive display. Moses Moody led the Warriors with 15 points, while superstar Steph Curry had nine points. The Nets were led by Cam Thomas (16 points). However, the second half was a stark contrast as the Nets turned on the jets with Schroder and Thomas taking over.
Schroder finished with a game-high 31 points while Thomas finished with 23 to his points tally. Jalen Wilson and Ziaire Williams chipped in with 18 and 19 points, respectively. Steph Curry led the Warriors with a team-high 28 points and seven assists.
Up next, the Warriors host the OKC Thunder at home on Wednesday. They hit the road after for two games against the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. The Nets end their away games with a skirmish against the Suns.
