On Wednesday, LeBron James and Bronny James attended Bryce James' high school game on their evening away from the Lakers as Sierra Canyon took on Crespi. Bryce played a crucial role in the team's 71-62 win. The 17-year-old senior was putting up a show with his family courtside, including grandmother Gloria James.
Overtime released a video of Bryce's exploits in which the 6-foot-6 wing knocked down a series of 3s, channeling his inner Steph Curry. Here's the clip:

Bryce James received an encouraging message from his dad, LeBron James, who posted an Instagram story of this video, saying:

Proud LeBron James was super emotional after 'flame thrower' Bryce James' Hoophall debut
LeBron James never fails to promote his kids' success. The Lakers star is known and idolized for his personality off the court, especially as a family man.
LeBron won hearts on Saturday during Bryce James' Hoophall Classic debut. The Sierra Canyon star made waves with his impeccable display that had LeBron shedding a tear.
"Bryce James going crazy in the Hoophall Classic right now! Flame thrower," LeBron tweeted.
In a follow-up post, the Lakers forward said:
"So proud of you Maximus!!! I literally just shed a tear! PROUD POPS!!"
Bryce shot 6 of 10 in that game, including four 3s. It was a career-high 16-point effort from the 17-year-old in just 17 minutes. With Bryce James beginning his college career next season, fans are wondering if LeBron James would play long enough to take to the floor with both his sons after already teaming up with Bronny James on the Lakers.
The four-time MVP has gradually declined, but he continues to play at an All-Star caliber level, averaging 23.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 9.0 assists on 51.3% shooting, including 39.8% from 3.
LeBron would be a couple of months away from turning 42 when Bryce can make his potential league debut in October 2026.
