Bryce James chooses LeBron over MJ, names 2 surprising picks for top 5 NBA players list

Basketball icons Michael Jordan and LeBron James are usually on the all-time NBA player lists. During Bryce James' interview with "Uninterrupted," he was asked to name his top five NBA players of all time and he placed his father ahead of the Chicago Bulls legend. He also included 2017 MVP Russell Westbrook and Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony.

Aside from the fact that the Lakers forward is his father, LeBron James has built an impressive body of work that could rival the resume of Michael Jordan. Bryce James' list was no short of NBA legends that included two former all-stars.

Bryce James' response was shared on Instagram by Uninterrupted.

"LeBron [James], MJ, Kobe [Bryant], Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony," James said.

Despite Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook not having many championships or MVP awards like the other three athletes, those accolades come second nature to some basketball fans. Aside from their All-Star nods, the two have combined for three scoring champion awards in their careers.

They have also been included in All-NBA Second Teams and Third Teams, further strengthening their resume.

Like his younger brother, Bronny James named LeBron James his favorite player. Alongside the Lakers legend, he included Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, then tied Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the fifth spot, as per ESPN.

"LeBron [James] one, Steph [Curry] two, Kyrie [Irving] three, KD [four], ANT and Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander] tied at five," James said.

Bronny James' list consists of some of the most elite scorers playing in the NBA today. However, the NBA rookie didn't include Michael Jordan on his list along with a couple of Hall of Famers.

The superstar trio of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and LeBron James have established themselves as old horses, going strong despite their age. They remain in incredible condition going up against the best in the league, despite being in the twilight years of their careers

The same can also be said for Kyrie Irving, who is still a premier scorer in the NBA. Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are considered the two future faces of the league given their growth and development each season.
