Bryce James had his best performance in the Nike EYBL game for Team SFG on Saturday. His father, LeBron James, was in attendance and was even seen coaching the team.

Bryce scored 21 points on a 5-9 shooting from the three-point line and took five rebounds.

Fans praised Bryce for his shot-making skills and even compared him with his brother, Bronny James. One fan wrote:

"I think bronny has a solid NBA future, Bryce will be more like his dad though."

Despite Bryce James' high-scoring performance, the team did not win the game. Nightrydas' Cameron Boozer, son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, also dropped 21 points on 3-for-3 shooting from behind the arc. The power forward ranks as the No. 2 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class (via 247Sports' composite rankings).

Meanwhile, the younger James is a No. 148 overall prospect in his recruiting class and ranks No. 18 from California, per 247Sports. He has received offers from Ohio State and Duquesne, with rumors of more on the way.

A busy week for the James siblings

While Bryce is taking over high school basketball conversations, his brother, Bronny, has been catching headlines with his performances in the NBA draft Combine in Chicago.

Bronny James surprised many with his 3-point shooting (19-from-25) and his 40.5" max vertical. His first scrimmage on Day 2 was a disappointment, as he only scored four points and four rebounds. However, in the final scrimmage, Bronny James finished with a team-high 13 points.

According to ESPN's Jonathan Givony, the guard has improved his draft stock immensely, moving spots from the outliers to feature in the middle.

"He's (Bronny) moved into the late second round of our latest projections. We're gonna have him at 54 in our next update. That's all the way up from the back end of the top 100. Talking to NBA people out here, they feel like he's legitimized himself as a real NBA prospect."

Addressing the rumors of him playing in the same team as his father, Bronny said:

"I would be happy about getting to the league instead of me thinking about playing with my dad. That's not my mindset or not at all. I'm just trying to put in the work and see where it takes me from there."

Bronny has until May 29 to either withdraw from the draft or completely forgo his college eligibility. Based on his performances at the Combine, many speculate that Bronny will choose to play in the NBA.
