Giannis Antetokounmpo helped the Milwaukee Bucks get into the Emirates NBA Cup final by beating the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night in Las Vegas. His clutch block on Clint Capela got some Bucks fans throwing shade at Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic.
With less than three minutes left, the Bucks led 103-98 over the Hawks. Trae Young drew the defense and threw a lob to Capela in what would have been a highlight play.
However, "The Greek Freak" read the pass and perfectly timed his block on the Hawks big man. It was all ball and was a clutch play that preserved Milwaukee's lead. They held on for a 110-102 victory, earning a ticket to the NBA Cup Final on Tuesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds, nine assists and four blocks on 10-for-15 shooting. He's one of the favorites to win the MVP this season, which is why some Milwaukee Bucks fans shaded Nikola Jokic for his perceived lack of defense.
"Jokic isn't even doing this in his dreams, man," a fan wrote.
"Nikola Jokic can't play defense like Giannis antetokounmpo, that's why Giannis is the MVP!," one fan claimed.
"I might have to put Giannis above Jokic right now for MVP..... He's been fantastic," another fan contemplated.
According to the latest MVP rankings by NBA.com, Jokic is still atop the list followed by Antetokounmpo. "The Joker" is averaging a triple-double, while Antetokounmpo has the Bucks on the brink of the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup title.
"There is no disrespect to Jokić. As someone who lives in Denver, I love watching that man play but Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in the world. That block he had only a few men can do and he's one of them and that's why he's the MVP," a fan argued.
"Idgaf what anyone says Giannis > Jokic in the MVP race for me," one fan responded.
"Giannis can match up to Jokic's offense, but Jokic is no where near his defense," another fan remarked.
